L’Ave Maria, qui rielaborata da Rossella Faa, è tratta dal Rosario tradizionale cantato a Masullas il 13 dicembre, durante le celebrazioni in onore di santa Lucia. Le quarte parallele ricordano i tropi medievali ma suonano assolutamente moderne, così come l’armonizzazione delicatamente contemporanea del pianoforte e dell’armonium indiano.

The Ave Maria, reworked here by Rossella Faa, is taken from the traditional Rosary sung in Masullas on 13 December, during the celebrations in honour of Saint Lucia.The parallel fourths are reminiscent of medieval tropes but sound absolutely modern, just like the contemporary delicate harmonisation of the piano and the Indian harmonium.
