I mutos sono dei componimenti poetici diffusi in tutta l’isola che possono essere intonati in diversi modi.
A Bolotana, nel Marghine, vengono cantati a cuncordu, termine che indica la locale tradizione di canto a quattro.
Il testo è suddiviso in due parti: la seconda contiene il messaggio principale, in questo caso di carattere amoroso, mentre la prima tratta un diverso argomento.
Durante il canto, nel quale la voce solista si alterna con le altre che lo accompagnano, i versi delle due sezioni vengono intrecciati tra loro.

The “mutos” are poetic compositions that are found throughout the island and which can be sung in different ways.
In Bolotana, in the Marghine area, they are sung “a cuncordu”, a term that indicates the local tradition of singing in groups of four.
The text is divided into two parts: the second part contains the main message, in this case it is about love, while the first part deals with a different topic.
The solo voice alternates with the other accompanying voices during the singing and the lines of the two sections are interwined.
